At Repair With Singh, we aim to provide honest, accurate, and transparent diagnostics for all devices. This policy explains what you can expect when you bring your device to us for inspection.
✅ What Is a Diagnostic?
A diagnostic is a professional assessment of your device to identify faults and determine what repairs may be required. This may include:
- Visual inspection
- Power and functionality tests
- Software checks
- Hardware testing
- Board-level and micro-soldering assessment (if needed)
⏱ Diagnostic Timeframe
- Most diagnostics are completed same day, depending on device condition and workload.
- Some complex faults may require additional time. We will inform you if this is the case.
💷 Diagnostic Fee
- A diagnostic fee may apply.
- The fee will always be explained before we begin.
- If you proceed with the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee may be waived or deducted from the repair cost.
📞 After Diagnostics
Once the inspection is complete, we will contact you with:
- The fault found
- Repair options
- Total repair cost
- Estimated repair time
No repair work will start without your approval.
🔐 Your Data & Privacy
- Please back up your data before bringing your device.
- While we take care, data loss can occur, and Repair With Singh is not responsible for lost data.
- Your personal information and device data are kept private.
⚠️ Non-Repairable Devices
If your device is not repairable or not economical to fix, we will explain why and return your device.
🧾 Abandoned Devices
Devices not collected within 30 days of diagnosis or repair completion may be recycled or disposed of to recover costs.
🛡 Warranty
Diagnostics alone do not include warranty.
Any repair warranty will be explained at the time of service.
